Ella Bull is a South London jeweller who has built a name for herself through her work creating custom pieces for clients. Her style is best defined through a playful and rebellious spirit, producing work that is 'anti' the jewellery establishment. Looking to take the business to the next level – beyond being recognised as an individual designer and to take the brand to the next level she needed to refresh the brand and create a new website.
The idea of 'simply subversive' was developed to embody the brand's spirit, tone of voice and style. This would allow the irreverence already established to carry through. From there a simple custom logotype was created that translates the subversive quality through the use of diagonal cuts in the aligned L's that create a playful shift in perspective and suggestions of an edgier tone.
